Dr. Duncan serves both the Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard Communities, and travels regularly to Florida to her satellite clinic in Pensacola. Dr. Duncan is a 5 generation physician, and was the youngest Certified Surgical Assistant in Washington State at age 15 to her father. Dr. Duncan enjoys playing polo, having marked her time previously in the horse world as a farrier and blacksmith in her 20's, and is delighted to be finally competing in the sport. Dr Duncan is also a professional artist and has had solo and group shows in sculpture and painting; and has danced professionally in 2 Folkloric Dance Companies. She is presently working on a series of polo paintings in her study of the particular movements and strategies. She also holds a Master’s degree in Comparative Sociology with emphasis on Cognitive Movement from Florida International University, and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Amherst College. Dr Duncan attended Sedro Woolley High School and Phillips Academy Andover, and earned her medical degree from the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami, Florida. Dr. Duncan originally grew up in Washington State and San Diego, spending her summers in Ketchikan, Alaska where her father also had a second medical practice.
